Type vertical slurry pump are vertical, centrifugal slurry pumps which are submerged in sump to work. They are designed for delivering abrasive, large particle and high density slurries. These vertical spindle slurry pumps do not need any shaft seal and sealing water. They can also be operated normally for insufficient suction duties.
Wet parts of type SP pumps are made of abrasion-resistant metal.
All parts of type vertical slurry pump immersed in liquid are lined with rubber. They are suited to transport the slurry which contains non-edge and abrasive particle,it's a high head slurry pump.
A single-stage single suction centrifugal pump is called a single-stage single suction centrifugal pump because the water enters the impeller from one side of the axial direction and there is only one impeller. It is characterized by higher head, smaller flow, simple structure and convenient use compared with mixed flow pump and axial flow pump.

(2) The structural type of light and small centrifugal pump is axial suction single-stage single suction suspension centrifugal pump. The pump body has a rear door, the outlet is located in the center upward, and the rear cover is a press fit type. The bearing body is directly connected with the pump body. The pump foot is located below the pump body. The bearing is lubricated with butter. The shaft seal is divided into three types: soft packing, mechanical seal, and rubber oil seal. Impellers are closed, and the transmission is divided into coupling transmission and belt transmission. Rotation direction of pump impeller: from the direction of pump inlet, the rotation direction of the impeller is clockwise, and when the pump is directly connected with the diesel engine, it is counterclockwise. The pump outlet can be equipped with a manual pump, which can remove the bottom valve, reduce the hydraulic loss, and make the pump self-priming.
